I chose home. This is because I over the past couple of years, I’ve moved out of my parents for the second time. I always said that Newcastle was my home, even when I lived in Leeds. But now I’ve moved to Bridgend which I call home. A quote we use in my family a lot is Home Is Where The Heart Is, mainly taken from the song of the same name by Lady Antebellum.
I used the Instagram ‘like’ notification to symbolise the heart. The perspective aspect is because the map of Wales is 2D, where the symbol is 3D and standing up at Bridgend.
I have also created posters for other locations in the UK.
